MARKETING & EVENTS COORDINATOR (CONTRACT-TO-HIRE)
Organization: Toys for Kids
Location: Kirkland, WA
Position Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: $50,000/year
Work Schedule: Hybrid (Mostly In-Office)
ABOUT TOYS FOR KIDS
It’s hard to imagine childhood without toys – not just symbols of play, but tools for healthy cognitive and physical development. Yet for too many children in Washington, a new toy is an inaccessible luxury.
Since 1995, Toys for Kids has ensured that every child in need knows they are not forgotten. With deep ties to the Seattle Mariners, we have grown into a multi-program nonprofit providing more than 60,000 toys annually across Washington.
We go beyond toys by addressing broader inequities facing low-income families:
- Backpack and school supply programs, plus support for hot lunches
- Sports equipment through Rick’s Locker
- Scholarships for graduating seniors – over $360,000 awarded since 2015
Through partnerships with 30+ nonprofits serving 150,000+ individuals annually, we provide toys, sports gear, books, and logistical support – helping agencies focus on housing, food, education, and care. Every interaction is rooted in dignity, opportunity, and celebration.
