How to Apply

At Toys for Kids, we believe in the power of compassion, service, and education to change lives—just like our co-founder Dave Henderson did. This scholarship is more than financial support; it’s a recognition of students who care deeply about their communities and are determined to make a positive impact. If that sounds like you, we encourage you to apply.

Thank you for your interest in the Toys for Kids High School Scholarship. Before you begin your application, please carefully review the instructions below. All sections of the application are required and must be completed in full to be considered for the scholarship.

Submission Format:
All application materials must be submitted in a single PDF file. This PDF must include:

Your completed essay (300–600 words, double-spaced)
One (1) letter of recommendation from a school official or a mentor you look up to

Applications that are incomplete or not submitted in the required format will not be considered. Please take the time to prepare your materials thoughtfully and ensure everything is included before submission.
