Through The Years
Toys for Kids supports homeless and disadvantaged children throughout the year, filling their hearts with hope and joy.
Founded by Mariners broadcaster Rick Rizzs and former Mariners center fielder Dave Henderson, over 85% of all donations directly benefit children. Over the last 29 years, Toys for Kids has raised over $2.7 million dollars, purchased brand new toys for over 200,000 children in Washington State and have hosted over 60 holiday parties to benefit children in need. More than 35,000 toys are given on a yearly basis.
